ClearPlasma
The ClearPlasma device is a non-pyrogenic, sterile, single-use device designed to remove plasminogen from blood products. It utilizes the chemical affinity of plasminogen to a specific ligand through its binding sites. As plasma passes through the resin bed, plasminogen encounters the covalently bound ligand and binds to it. The plasminogen-depleted plasma then flows through the device and is collected in a new plasma bag, ready for transfusion.
